Expanded and shrinkage clay characteristic influence by water. These are necessary to improve before loading. This research, clay characteristic was improve with lime additive to increase shear strength. Soil sample treated with lime content varying 0%, 2%, 4%,6%, 8%, and 10% with curing time of 7 days, 14 days, and 28 days. This research was done on the soil disturb from Dusun Gembol, Wonogiri. The test including compaction, Attenberg limit, spesific gravity, gradiation, and triaxial tes Unconsolidation Undrained condition (UU test). The test result showed that lime additive up to 10% able to reduce plasticity index 33,84% to curing time of 7 days and 37,17% to curing time of 28 days from original plasticity index 39,27%. Triaxil test given value 0 increase 32,98% to curing time of 28 days from original value0 7, 90% on 8% lime additive and value c reduce 188,39 KN/m2. |
